Zorro lives a quiet life in Little Dozington – but not by choice. He longs to be a hero, and would much rather be out having adventures than lying around in his little house, eating from his golden bowl. But all of a sudden, things start disappearing from Little Dozington: first his friend Hamsterina’s special spanner goes missing, then a cushion belonging to his old neighbour Bernhardinovich. When his own golden food bowl vanishes, Zorro feels sure that there must be a band of thieves at work – and sees his chance to have a real adventure at long last!
Detective work is really rather complicated though! Zorro is starting to find the whole thing a bit scary – but he is determined to find and defeat the monster. In the end, Zorro wins the day and fulfils his dream of becoming a hero. He even gets kitted out with a superhero outfit including a mask, a hat and a cape – all ready for his next adventure!
