Simona M. Ceccarelli worked as a chemist until she swapped her lab coat for a pencil. She graduated from the Academy of Arts in San Francisco and since 2016 has been illustrating books, games and other products for children. Today Simona lives with her husband, a cat, two children, three nationalities and four languages near Basel, Switzerland.
