From September 2012 to June 2024, Dr. Christine Bortenlänger was Executive Director of the German Stock Institute. Prior to that, she had been a member of the Management Board of the Bavarian Stock Exchange AG since 2000. Bortenlänger is the author of several business books and a member of various supervisory boards. She is an active advocate for more financial education.
